Improving Posture

Faulty or bad posture is the cause of many a body ache and occasionally severe pain and dysfunction.

Posture is essentially the position of the body in space, the relationship of the body parts—head, trunk, and limbs—to each other. Changes in posture occur when any part of the body is moved. When we provide chiropractic care for posture at Indian River Chiropractic, we focus on structure and function for prevention of spinal deterioration known as arthritis. If you use the body in the wrong way, you can damage it permanently. On the other hand, if you sit for long periods of time, or don’t get your body moving, it can begin to deteriorate, causing pain, stiffness, and poor posture. We’ll help correct that.
