Indian River Health Center has a wide variety of staff working at its Vero Beach, FL chiropractic center. One particular staff addition includes a Nurse Practitioner or NP. A nurse practitioner is a registered nurse who has higher education and training in a particular area or field. Nurse practitioners have a master’s degree, also known as a MSN, as well as board certification in their specialty.
A nurse practitioner vastly improves the capabilities that can be done at Indian River Health Center. For instance, a nurse practitioner has the skill set required to perform in-office injections for hormone balancing and other functional medicine therapies. A nurse practitioner can also diagnose and treat medical conditions in addition to ordering, performing and interpreting medical tests. An NP also has full prescribing privileges.
John A. Rhoades, FNP-C
John A. Rhoades, FNP-C joins Indian River Health Center in providing exceptional care to patients. Licensed and certified, John has experience in hospital and acute & primary care clinic settings.
